Oracle Functional Test- web app - record problem

I have installed Oracle functional testing suite 9.0 and trying to record a script for a website say, http://www.myweb.com, but when i press record button and tried to go to above URL, nothing happens and recording is not done, may be some exception would have thrown here. but i am stuck with this tool evaluation. help required.
