The Microsoft Excel Add-in enables you to export your test plan, requirements, or defects in Microsoft Excel directly to Quality Center. You can view the exported test plan in the test plan tree, the exported requirements in the requirements tree, and the exported defects in the defects grid.
Note: If you upgrade to a new version of Microsoft Excel after installing the Quality Center Microsoft Excel Add-in, you must perform an additional step in order to work with this add-in. For more information, refer to the Quality Center Microsoft Excel Add-in Guide.
Installation Instructions:
Install Microsoft Excel on your Quality Center client machine. Uninstall any previous versions of this add-in. Refer to the appropriate Quality Center Microsoft Excel Add-in Guide to review additional important installation instructions. Click the appropriate Download Add-in to download and install this add-in on your Quality Center client machine. Note that to install this add-in, you must log in with administrator privileges. Install the appropriate Quality Center Connectivity Add-in on your Quality Center client machine. For more information, refer to the Quality Center Add-ins page.
Versions supported: Microsoft Excel 2000, XP, 2003, and 2007 with Mercury Quality Center 9.0 and HP Quality Center 9.2.
