I'm looking for a company that specializes in iPad application testing, is anyone aware of any companies or have any recommendations? The other option is to go in-house and hire another QA employee but I would rather have an established, experienced, external team.

No recommendations or experiences with any, but suggest you check out utest.com and mob4hire.com, and similar companies. Not specifically targeted at iPad, but they might have some test support for it. Can say for quality of testing though.
