HP ALM 11: Class TSSheduler not registred.
      #645651 - 10/15/10 05:06 AM

Hi!

After upgrade from HP QC10 to HP ALM11 I can't start Sheduler from script.

...
Set Scheduler = theTestSet.StartExecution("")
...

this code don't work now.

But when I wrote the same scipt and run from HP ALM it works without errors (create sheduler).

I wrote some C# code:

TestSet theTestSet = (TestSet)tsList[1];
TSScheduler Sheduler = (TSScheduler)theTestSet.StartExecution(""); //error

When I run it, I get error from my application:
Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))

Have anyone suggetions how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Try setting the current folder for the process, to where wexectrl.exe is deployed.

P.S. Make sure you ran the ALM Client registration on the machine you are working on, it should have deployed the client into C:\ProgramData\HP\ALM-Client\[Server]\
And registered all the com servers in that folder.

If you did not, got to Addins Page->More Addins->HP ALM Client Registration
There you should find instructions on how to register the client.
