Test Case Full Path
      #591102 - 09/15/09 11:11 AM

Hi all,
I am trying to obtain the full path of the Test case. But Test_Fields("TS_PATH").Value does not work ?
Can some one help with this.

Thanks all.

Set aTest = TDConnection.TestFactory.Item(testId)
testFullPath = aTest.Field("TS_SUBJECT").Path
Set aTest = Nothing

To complete Alex's answer :

TS_PATH is the path to the automatic scripts linked to the test. That path is relative to the path listed for the "tests" dataconst name in the DATACONST table of the project.

TS_SUBJECT holds the id of the test parent subject in the database but, when it comes to the OTA object model, it allows you to retrieve the SubjectNode object linked to the test.

In the QC workflow, you can use Test_Fields("TS_SUBJECT").Value.Path to retrieve the full subject path for the test.

In places where the Test_Fields object is not available (in the Test Lab module for instance), you'd use Alex's code.
