Check it first to see if it works or not. In case it does not then Check with HP if they have plans to support the same or not

Hi,
I am finding some issue while executing QTP 11 with Chrome Browser. The object which was identified in IE and Firefox for many times, is not identifying the same object in Chrome Browser for Second or Third Run. There is some inconsistant identifying of Object in Chrome Browser.
Can any one provide me the solution of why this problem arrives..

In general terms,
Unless the client wants Google Chrome browser to be tested for their app, it is always best to use MS powered IE as browser where windows powered servers / machines are used.

In general terms, MANY regression suites include multi-browser testing... Something that has been a bit of an issue for QTP in the past... but they're getting a LOT better Selenium may soon not be as needed as it is now...

Quite the opposite. Should always test in multiple browsers that are out in the market, unless the product owner indicates that the end users are in a locked down environment that only has IE.

Well i guess it all depends on the requirement, Well back to the basic funda is that, what is specified in my spec I need to follow. If IE is the only recommendation, then i would go with IE. Even tough firefox plays the major role, as it also increases the time & cost for other browsers.
