      #29857 - 12/03/04 05:23 AM

Hi,
I am using following statement in script
Agent.SetOption(OPT_VERIFY_UNIQUE, false)

and after compiling getting the error
Type mismatch-Expecting a window.

Please tell whats going wrong.

Thanks in advance.

The compile error should not be because of this line.

But the error message points to following line which is in "javaex.inc" file provided by segue

STRING sNewOpt = Agent.GetOption (OPT_MENU_INVOKE_POPUP)

Looks like a spurious error. Can you delete all your object files and recompile. Unless anybody else has seen this kind of error, it is going to be a trial and error for you.

Thanks and Regards,

You might want to debug your code smartly ..how?...by manually looking into the testcase rather than letting the Silkresults drive you
regarding the problem..
i think you are trying to -for eg.- do a getActive() (returns a WINDOW) or setactive() (sets a WINDOW) where instead of declaring your variable as a type WINDOW, you are using somethin else... lights a bulb?

Hi All,
I found the solution why it was giving error message

I did my own declaration of Agent which is a keyword [Smile]

Thanks and Regards,
