Quality Center : Database Server Disk Space
      #690906 - 11/11/11 11:39 AM

Hi All,

I am trying to setup a database server for the QC 11. I am not sure how much disk space I would need to use.

I would have 10 projects with at most 5 users logged in at point of time.

Can you please advise?

-Sam

The amount of disk space needed depends on the amount of data you will store and the database infrastructure you use. The number of users is irrelevant. In my environment using SQL 2005 the size of my project databases rang from 6 MB to 740 MB.

Hi Trudy,
How much Database space required to save all my QTP Scripts and other Testing documents. And if possible can you please let me know if SQL Express is compatible with Quality center. I have 5 GB available in SQL Express

Thanks a lot for your help
