Your video suggests that your unique mobile testing solution appears to be pretty much identical to running a VNC server on the mobile device, and testing through the VNC client using your preferred automation tool, preferably one with good OCR and or smart image comparison. This method has been discussed here before, and has numerous problems, see this thread from 2007 for an example. There are many other similar threads.

Please refrain from using this forum as a place to market your company and/or products. Any additional posts that add no more value than suggesting the poster uses your services will be deleted.

Its very good video presenation. I have below questions:
1. How will I get access to my iPhone in PC? what are are the tools? Is it a open source tool? Any legal issues?
2. Can i use this tool with iPhone app?

Best,

Sorry for the really late reply - been very busy...

Sean, Since 2007 many things have improved This method has been implemented for a number of large and small companies and used to automate tests for products tens of millions of people around the world utilize every day, so I think it's worth sharing.

The uniqueness of the method is in decoupling between the automated tool, the remote control software, and the device under test. If you have robust enough reusable functions and obey by the best practices of test automation, you can have one automated script handling many different devices, e.g., iPhone, iPad, and a few Androids.

It is not a tool, it's a method for using common tools - and that's its beauty. You do not have to buy any new automation tool to utilize it if you are already doing test automation with a decent toolset.

The access to the device can be achieved by a number of different pieces of software, for example, veency and tightVNC for iOS devices, and droidVNC Server and tightVNC for Androids.
