I remember seeing and using someplace that you can communicate with IE by connecting to it as an object. Then there are methods and properties to call for what you are trying to do. I don't remember the details. I'm sorry.

Hi tringtring,

This is computer policy setting. So you can configure this in Windows Registry.

Based on your IE Version, you will find this registry setting in below path:
Quote:

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Privacy\ClearBrowsingHistoryOnExit"

If you didnt find in the above path, search with this keyword "ClearBrowsingHistoryOnExit". Change the value to 1.

If you would like to do this through scripting, use below code:
Code:

s_RegPath="HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Privacy\ClearBrowsingHistoryOnExit"
set o_WScript=createobject("WScript.shell")
o_WScript.RegWrite s_RegPath,1,"REG_DWORD"
set o_WScript=nothing
