I am trying to use DotNetFactory to instantiate an MQ Queue Manager object. The error message states "an exception was thrown by the target of an invocation". I have tried passing the queue manager name and I have tried to create a default queue manager. We are not using user id and password authentication but I can't help thinking there may be some other security related issue. We are using MQ version 7.1.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is my code so far >>
strQMgrName = environment.Value("queueManager")
strQueueName = environment.Value("queueVDA")
strMQMDllPath = "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\IBM\\WebSphere MQ\\bin\\amqmdnet.dll"
Set oMqEnvironment = DotNetFactory.CreateInstance("IBM.WMQ.MQEnvironment",strMQMDllPath)
oMqEnvironment.Hostname = environment.Value("hostName")
oMqEnvironment.Port = environment.Value("portName")
oMqEnvironment.Channel = environment.Value("channelName")
Set oMQC = DotNetFactory.CreateInstance("IBM.WMQ.MQC",strMQMDllPath)
' qmanager name,channel name, connection name
Set oMqQMgr = DotNetFactory.CreateInstance("IBM.WMQ.MQQueueManager",strMQMDllPath,strQMgrName)
