How to detect multiple instances of same browser
      #718082 - 10/15/12 11:55 PM

Hi,

I am using SilkTest 13 and I want to use multiple IE browsers. But if multiple instances of IE browser are open, SilkTest is not able to detect a new instance. Please tell me if there is a flag to enable this support in SilkTest.

Thanks.

Yes there is a flag. I suggest you read the help files for agent settings.

If you want to count the instances of opened browser, you can go to task manager and count the number of running processes [ iexplore.exe ]. Instead of UI, you can do it through DOS commands for better results.
