TDCommand control to launch QC in IE
      #718423 - 10/19/12 12:24 PM

Hi,

We have used two below codes to launch QC in IE

testdirector:Server/qcbin,DEFAULT,Project,USER_ID,Password;2:567723

-The above server has with 9.0. When i launch in IE Auto login is happening fine and logging into QC. Eventhough 9.0 is not compatible with IE8 and windows 7 it is working fine.

But below code was used in

testdirector:Server/qcbin,DEFAULT,Project,User_id,Password;2:501

-Auto login is not happening but launching web page and taking user-id and password and not working on IE8. This is on QC version 9.2

Please help me with TDcommand protocal and their changes in 9.0 and 9.2

..

Appreciate if anyone got solution(or) clue on this. On my analysis, I do not see any issues with IE settings.

But there is some change in 9.2 regards to authentication and login. I did not get that information from 9.2 documents.

Is any other way to launch QC in IE otherthan this. I am putting complete code we used for launch program in 9.0.

var openshell = new ActiveXObject("WScript.shell");
//Launching QC 9.0
//openshell.run
("testdirector:QCServer/qcbin,DEFAULT,Project,user-id,password;");
