Hello,

I have been using qtp for a long time, and now starting evaluation of Worksoft Certify.

i would like to know what are issues/limitation of Worksoft automation for SAP project convering SAP & non SAP application.

contents from worksoft site says there are no limitation on using it ;-)

HP tools integrate really well with SAP and are rather expensive. If your company already owns an HP license, I'm curious why you would want to switch.

I have not used Worksoft so I cannot help you there. If all your are using QTP for is to automate testing, it may be cheaper and accomplish the same thing. A few benefits to the HP suite include integration with ALM which allows you to manage requirements, test cases, results, and defects and you can export SAP elements and objects directly into ALM which is nice for tracking impacted areas.

It's not cheap as both require additional licenses, but if you're not using that functionality then you may be looking at some cost savings by looking at additional tools.

Would be interested to hear about your results if you do make the switch.
