CMG Conference: Worth it?
      #716919 - 09/24/12 11:35 AM

Hey everyone! My boss recently sent me a link to the Computer Measurement Group's website and told me that they had a conference coming up in Vegas. He asked me to take a look at the information and decide if it would be worthwhile for him to send a few of us.

Honestly, I hadn't heard of this organization before, but it sounds pretty good. Most of the software conferences I've been to thus far are centered around functional/automation testing with one or two short sessions on performance testing. The CMG conference seems to be the opposite, so it looks worthwhile, but I can't find any comments about them online.

tl;dr - Have any of you attended a CMG conference? If so, how was it? What was discussed? Thanks!

I have attended. I do load & performance testing and it was "ok" for that. If you're more into capacity planning, there is a LOT more content in that space.

Caveat: I haven't looked at this year's topics.
