Recording a Key Press
      #716016 - 09/06/12 08:37 AM

I'm on day 2 of switching from QALoad to SilkPerformer 9. (Newbie!) Here's the issue:

I'm attempting to record a button press on a website and this is what is returned.

Code:
BrowserClick("//A[@id='APP_5014212641169']", BUTTON_Left, "Click, A, textContents=Save (#1)");

When I run the script it fails on this step. After further investigation I noticed the APP_ 5014212641169 value changes each time.

When I am running the process manually, I am able to press F8 and that will highlight the object. Is there a button press command I could try to use?

Thanks for any ideas you share.

Scott

I figured out the problem. The problem was my anti-virus program Sophos. I uninstalled Sophos and I was able to record in HTML mode easily.

If I kept Sophos installed the work around would be to change Internet Explorer's LAN settings / Proxy to local host.
