Silktest 13
      #710220 - 06/19/12 10:08 AM

I am hoping you guys can help me with a couple of things in SilkTest 13 that I'm trying out.

How do I get SilkTest to work with Rumba. I got Microfocus to send me a trail of Rumba. I start the Rumba Plug in.
I open up both Rumba and SilkTest. But when I record it doesn't record any of my keystrokes in the screen. (it does record some menu stuff).

If you installed Silk Test first and then Rumba, you'll probably need to enable Silk Test's Rumba plug-in.

To do that, go to your start menu > SilkTest > Administration > Rumba > Enable Rumba Plug-in.

Hi Amit,
SilkTest 13 does not yet support Java 7. Plase use one of the Java 6 jre versions.

Thanks for confirmation....

But I found it is working on some of the place and as per our need we have to certified our some products on jre7.

do we have any workaround this time.

I guess just incase anybody finds this later.
SilkTest 13 and Rumba only work for Workstations and AS400... Don't quote me on that. All I know is right now Silk Test and Rumba does not work with Unix.

But that doesn't matter I guess some update got Silk Test working with Putty, which is what I wanted anyways.
