How to make each virtual user to select unique row
      #709853 - 06/13/12 11:44 AM

In my application one particular record can be used by only one user at a time. So i want my virtual users to select unique rows from the table. In the recorded script row selection is done using row number (Eventtarget is the row number which determines which row is selected). Can anyone help me out how to handle this scenario.

A sample of how your rowsets are captured in opensta would really help.

If row number is the only argument that you need to supply a unique value, try creating a file with unique row number values.

Use MUTEX locking function to pick unique row numbers for each user and pass it on the eventtarget argument.

Refer this thread for MUTEX example
