How to handle failure in Extract string
      #697679 - 02/06/12 07:34 AM

Hi,

I have a situation where the left and right boundaries might change during the run and that is fine and is expected. So i want to the script to continue even if the boundaries dont exist and it should not show fail status.
There is an option LR like NOT FOUND = Warning. So wanted to know if anything of this sort can be done QA Load.

And another thing wanted to know is if we can use any regular expressions to handle dynamic boundaries.

Thanks,

The only option for ignoring errors is in the Conductor Error Handling options which apply universally at the script level. This will apply to all errors, not just data extraction.

WWW middleware does not support regular expressions (from what I can tell from the help file the only supported regular expressions are for winsock middleware scripts).
