I am studying the FPA process and have 1 doubt regarding that-
One of the steps is determining Value Adjustment Factor (VAF) which is calculated on the basis of 14 GSC (General System Characteristics) and those are:
Data Communication
Distributed data processing
Performance
Heavily used configuration
Transaction rate
Online data entry
End user efficiency
Online update
Complex processing
Reusability
Installation ease
Operational ease
Multiple sites
Facilitate change
But how do we analyze these before the product is developed? This technique is used basis on requirements provided from end user's perspective so how do we relate these 14 objects during that phase of project.
