Error message when using Bitmap Checkpoint
      #665686 - 03/24/11 08:22 AM

I am running a number of WinRunner 9.2 tests over night from a master script using quite a number (75) of: call_close "xxx" (); lines in master winrunner script. Some of my scripts that are being called are capturing and comparng bitmaps (using the: obj_check_bitmap command). Whilst running each sub test and comparing a bmp, I get the error message:

Bitmap verification failed
Error: No expected image

I thought that when using the call_close "xxx"(); command each test that is loaded uses its own .gui file (which is loaded at the start of each sub test that is called (using GUI_load)) which contains the master image for each comparison.

Any thoughts on where I am going wrong here would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Carl

I think i have found a way round this now (although any advise as to a better solution is still appreciated).

FYI.
I have copied the subtest/exp/img files for all subtests into the mastertest/exp/subtest folders (each subtest needs its own folder in the mastertest/exp/ folder.
