Hello,
In manual scripts, we decided to use the Notes column in a Instruction step type to display the expected results.
Example:
Step StepType Text Poss. Answers Notes 1 Instr. Click Link. Pass, Fail Screen opens
In doing some more reading of QADirector documentation, it appears they recommend using the Question step type for expected results.
Example:
Step StepType Text Poss. Answers Notes 1 Instr. Click Link. Pass, Fail 2 Quest. Did Screen open? Yes, No
Which have you found works better for your testing teams?

Here was the suggestion from microfocus professional services:
"Instructions are typical for steps that don’t have an outcome, but are part of a scenario. Questions are for the resulting step in a manual test."
So i have my answer.
