Access Log Sampler
      #633713 - 07/07/10 08:04 AM

I've tried the Access Log Sampler for the first time using a WebLogic Log.

Works great but for one serious getcha.

After about 65000 samples with a throughput of 5+k it slows to about 2.5k. We then see inconsistent speed-ups and slow-downs as the test continues to run.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Found the culprit?
We did not see any memory issues as we watched prstat during the slowdowns.

We are in a twilight zone of not knowing if it it jmeter or our SUT. We have not experienced anything like this with extensive LoadRunner testing on the same SUT.

Any ideas based on empirical experience would be very welcome.

Thanks,
Geoff

Simple solution.
There was too many/much Listening going on.
Specifically the Tree Listener was not limited to Errors only.
Deleting the Listeners from the Test Plan and using the Simple Data Writer only, solved the problem.
I was then able to view all the results in numerous Listeners after the test run.
