VSS Error when Archiving
      #244659 - 06/13/03 03:10 AM

Has anyone experienced an "Invalid Access Code (Bad Parameter)" error when archiving projects in VSS? This has happened to me twice at about the saame point while archiving all projects to a saved file on the local machine.

Any thoughts?

We use the VSS extensively for source code, testing frameworks, and other stuff. We have never encountered such errors.

Are you using the admin login ? If yes have you tried using some other login, do you have relevant rights to the file on the local machine, is there enough disk space ?

Anyone of the above could also be a reason for the same.

Try first analysing your VSS database and then proceed.
