Defect data in QAD6.0
      #631375 - 06/18/10 11:46 AM

Hello,

When I create a defect during a manual test in QAD 6.0 an associated defect is created in TrackRecord. I update all required fields and save the defect in TR. When I refresh the associated/non-associated defects listed in QAD the new values for Defect Summary, Defect Status or Priority do not appear. Has anyone been successful in populating these rows for their defects? I think I might be outta luck since the screen shots in the support docs show no values in the rows.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Update. Found the solution.

Steps:
1. Log into TrackRecord and locate name your project report.
2. Log into QAD>List of Projects>(your project)>Project Properties>Defect Tracking.
3. Enter parameters:
Name=Query Name
Required=Yes
Value=<corresponding project report name from TrackRecord>
4. Click Apply button.
5. Click OK button.
6. Click on Defects icon.
7. Click Reload Defects icon.
Result: All defects created during manual testing associated with the project will appear and include values in Defect Summary, Defect Status and Priority columns.
