Test Impact analysis
      #630347 - 06/12/10 04:14 PM

Is there a way to run only those tests in the library that are impacted by a particular change in the code instead of running the entire suite? I know there is a way of doing this in VS2010 by using test impact analysis. However, we do not have 2010 yet and so I was wondering how to write tests so that it can automatically be determined which tests to run after a build.

Thanks,
Avi.

If you are using the QTP, you can make a function call and pass the parameters to the function and can only test that perticular function from the library where the code changes happen.
