Testing an Enterprise Console application
      #544955 - 01/22/09 04:02 AM

Hi,

Are there any reading available on testing an Enterprise Console Application which allows centrally managing an antivirus application in a LAN.

Thanks,
DVCN

DVCN,

Your question has a vast scope. The answer to your question could depend on the following questions:
1. What kind of a console is it e.g. a management console or a DOS command console?
2. Which type of testing you have to perform on your enterprise console application e.g. functional, performance, GUI and/ or any other?
3. Do you wish to automate the tests? If so, which tool(s) are you planning to use?

I would like to hear some advice on this too. I heard there are some companies use benchmark based system to evaluate system's capacity and the test can be performed with limited resources.
