Using open source version of webload v8.0.5.018. Has anyone else had an issue pushing past 20 concurrent users? I have tried testing google script as well to rule out it being our server restriction, and tested at home and work, and using 3G connection to rule out network congestion. I am thinking it is either a port restriction around max connections or an application issue.

what version of Windows are you using? (version, edition, etc)
it could be an OS limit depending on what you are running.
this might be helpful: http://smallvoid.com/article/winnt-tcpip-max-limit.html

Just to add to Corey's answer, you can generate as many users as possible from single LG as long as it has enough resource.

Thank guys, that's what I have read too, I found it was my firewall. When I turned it off, I did not have as many issues. Then I started blowing out my CPU and Memory!

What are you doing then? I just tested a web application with 200 users from one LG without any memory or CPU probs. Even with source parsing in it.

Probably your CPU is not having enough horse power to generate load. Load an LG can generate depends on various factors such as 1. server response time 2. sleep time or think time 3. throughput 4. error rate etc

if it was indeed cpu-bound, you would easily detect this when monitoring resources on your load generator.

I hope knightmare has done monitoring of CPU on LG already.
