Unable to Edit Verification Points in TestManager
      #522949 - 10/08/08 08:32 AM

I have a script ABC running on Server S1. For some reason, I thought of running the script ABC on my local Machine M1. For this I copied all the files from Server S1 to Machine M1 and started running the script. At the end of the run, Some verification points failed and when I tried to replace the baseline with actual result, log file says that it is read only. Even If I open the Verification point from the Testmanager and try to edit, I get an error saying that this Verification point is "READ ONLY: Editing not allowed". Do anyone has any clue for this error?

SPC

I suspect that you have invalid paths in your repository
It can be fairly hard to find all the places that have paths in robot/testmanager

If it's just a stand alone script I'd suggest the following process.
  • create a test case in test manager associate the script with the test case
  • export the test case from the server test manager
  • make sure to include associated implementations.
  • import the test case on a fresh local datastore.

This should bring along all the neccesary files and confiure things correctly.

Phil
