a responsed body
      #322295 - 12/29/03 03:16 PM

Hi Group,

I type this address in browser which is
http://otxdotnet/SurveyEngine/SurveyEntry.aspx?e=cd2464e7-8648-4cef-aee3-58601ea9bc47
and browswer brings me back some infomration in reponse but the address changes to :
http://otxdotnet/SurveyEngine/SurveyFrame.aspx?user_id=MRQUAJsu2iQ%3d

This is the whole thing which works fine in real world but when I sent the first address request to our web server thru ACT (which worked fine cause the return code was 200) it didn't brought me back the second address which browser shows in its address location! I couldn't find it in responsed body.
I need those information. What should I do ?

Thanks
Ramsin

1. Are you sure your response buffer is sufficiently large enough to contain the entire response?
2. If so, check specifically for the user_id item, rather than the entire URL.

I had increased the the buffer size to max but didn't show up!
Also, I used InStr() to find starting position of URL and USER_ID but didn't find it either.
The thing is oResponse.Body which offers you the body of responsed object contains only information on first page!
I have to access to the second page contents.
Does it make sense ? please let me know it.

thanks
Ramsin

Set the Trace to: Test.TraceLevel = -1, which is very verbose and see what's going on in the Log?

You might also want to explicitly set the redirect depths in your createConection object:

Set flConnection = Test.CreateConnection(Prod_AdServer, 80, false)
flConnection.RedirectDepth = 15

Hi OffRamos,

I had set it both tips you said but didn't work. Anyway thanks for your help. Guys like you are the only thing which make me stay with this forum. Just let me ask you this; I set RedirectPath to 12 but there was no any change in log file. How come ?
what should I expect to see at log as extra data ?

Thanks in advance
