command line launch ?
      #308975 - 09/26/05 06:47 AM

Hi
I'm trying to launch rational test manager from a command prompt. I've entered the following command in dos "rtmanager.exe Duration /user casey /password xxxxx /project c:\testkpc\k2.rsp"

which corresponds to the suite, user, password and project I want to use.
This launches the rational test login screen only .
Does anyone know why the user password etc are not being passed to the login screen ???.
TKS

Here's one command line that I used many, many time without any problems:

"C:\Program Files\Rational\Rational Test\rtmanager.exe" "PSP-RS" /user admin /project "h:\iss\ISS.rsp" /computers Local /build 1 /logfolder "Default" /log logname /overwritelog /close

As you can see, there are quite a few differences.

Hope this helps.
