can anybody suggest me a good SIT plan and the contents in the plan for an ERP project.

Right now i am into SAP testing, Do SIT plan differs for different domains, just like ERP, telecom, financial.........

Hi Bhargavi,

You are talking about /System/ Integration testing. This means that the systems you are integrating are already tested and approved.
In this next step you want to know how all the systems interact and test these interactions.

This is typically done using process flows that cover all the systems.

It's hard to tell the details of a SIT plan as every plan depends on the context. But for the outline, I see the same sections as any other plan: scope, activities, budget, time, risks, ...

Try to take a test plan template and complete it from the system integration point of view.

Hi All,


According to me system integration testing is a type of integration testing which is done in large.
In should be done by interfacing with different systems.
It is required to check whether the different system is working properly or not.
It is generally done after system testing.
