      #578006 - 07/02/09 12:26 PM

Why am I getting this error? What is causing it?

The instruction at "0*7c9109f9" referenced memory at "0*ffffffff". The memory could not be read.Click on OK to terminate the program

Is it qtp10? There's a thread on a patch for crashes in that.

The error mentioned is only happening for a test which connects to database and that too not on all machines.

Do anybody know why this is happening only to a particular test which connects to the database.

And also it happens only on some machines of all the machines I am working.

Should I check for any settings on the one that causes with the other one which doesn't cause the problem.

Stab in the dark but I'd perform the following:

Delete all files/folders from %temp%

Get a copy of REGCLEAN

Run regclean twice

Reboot the system and run your test

Ensure your ODBC drivers are the same on all systems

Good luck!

Kisvacak,

Thank you for your reply.

Is it safe for me to delete all the files under this folder.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp
