I need to find tool that simplify the web testing procedure.
I need to test web application (java if this matters. ) Load testing
Performing multi threaded requests to the server.
Is there some kind of tool that records that user actions like insert parameters in the GUI?
And then takes this info and execute several times
Re: Looking for web testing tool that records actions
The best tool is one that meets your requirements.
What I find as best isn't going to be the same as someone else.....The best thing anyone can do is sit down and document exactly it is what they need from a tool and then work with all companies that sell a tool which can meet those requirements and go through a Proof of Concept.
The POC is a time when you can have a representative for the company sit with you and show you first person how the tool will work with your app and environment.
Basically I look at it this way - would you buy a house site unseen just because someone a world away said they thought it was the best for you? Probably not, and this is the same idea. A Test Tool is a big investment and you need to take the time to find out what is the right place to invest your time, the company's money, and the future of the QA department's success with automation
