Hi all, does anyone have any tools they know of (preferably free-ware - but doesn't have to be) that test web links, anchors, etc. A LONG time ago I used Rational Site Check, then they moved over to Coast Software who was bought out by Watchfire. Now Watchfire wants to do a dog-n-pony show, gather requirements, blah blah blah.
All I am looking for is software that test broken links, page speed, jpg loading etc.. And it must (MUST) be able to authenticate using .Net, Digest, Basic authentication.
I did search around the forum and had no luck.
Thank you in advance.
Re: Web Link - URL - Broken Anchors in Web testing
Try LinkCheckerPro and Xenu.
LinkCheckerPro gives you all the details which you asked for but it is very much slow when compared to Xenu.
Though Xenu does not provide you all the details you need, it is worth trying.
