diploma thesis - testing websites

Hello!
Currently I'm writing my diploma thesis. The subject is about developing a test process for a content management system which is based on Typo3.
I subdivided the test process into these parts:
<ul type="square">[*]functional testing[*]performance testing [*]security testing[*]integration testing[*]unit testing
I actually focus my attention on functional testing.
A further part is the realization of test automation with the tool "QA Wizard"

I noticed that there is a lot of "Software Testing" literature available, but only sources dealing especially "Web Testing" (ore something similar).

I think it could be interesting for the community and for me, to post my findings, assertions, statements and so on. Isn't it?

I suggest that I create a thread for each part (e.g. diploma thesis - functional testing) for differentiating the posts.

What do you think?

Re: diploma thesis - testing websites

If you don't mind some experts potentially poking holes into it or questioning your assertions, it could be quite interesting and possibly spark some meaningful debate.

Re: diploma thesis - testing websites

I started a new thread which deals with my diploma thesis - functional testing .

I'll present my findings, statements there and post my questions concerning functional testing of web sites.

@Linda:
No I never mind the experts . It's rather my intention that it is not enough to read theoretical literature about it. This is a good chance, getting the experts practical experience.
