Modifying page code prior to rendering - possible?
Some colleagues and I are thinking of creating a simple solution to a complex test issue we are running into at work - I would love to get some perspective from some of the experts here in the forum.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we might accomplish this?

In the off chance you are still checking this thread, I have a couple of ideas.
First would be to modify the way the site is constructed so that you're able to do the testing you need. It's not unreasonable to ask for code changes that will allow you to more effectively do your tests.
Why do you want to hit the live site and have it pull things from a test site? Can't you do all of the tests from domain-test?
Charles will do search/replace on the fly. I haven't been able to get it to work in all cases but give it a shot:
Use the "Rewrite" function
