It is kind of you to help me.
Now,I have a new work to test a management system. It is a web-based application. And it is Browaer/Server framwork.
but I did not do this test before.I do not know that what I should test except fuctional test.
x. So what if it's a management system. How is that interesting? or different? It's not likely that you'll run across anything peculiar to this specific application that would set it apart from other web-based browser/server architectures.
To answer your question, in brief, start with the process you use for any other system. Make tweaks to that as needed to provide the assurance your customer needs.
Hey Bob, I do what I can.
Bob's right. You'll find a lot of information on this forum for basic principles of web testing. Most of what you will be doing is functional testing, which you are already familiar with. You will probably not be familiar with performance testing, which will also be necessary for a web app.
Play with the search on these forums, and poke around for a while. You'll find enough information to keep you busy for quite a while I think. Then, if you have other questions, come back and post a new topic WITH AS MUCH DETAIL as you can, and we'll se what we can do.
