Large number of hidden fields
I'm trying to load test a web application which has a huge number of hidden fields on each page, the values of which are dynamically generated for each visit and each separate user.
Whilst I'm able to automate the extraction of individual fields within some web testing applications like JMeter and WAPT, nowhere it seems am I able to assign *all* hidden fields to be extracted and posted back in one swift motion.
Just to emphasise my plight - some of the forms in the web application contain approximately 100 hidden fields.
Is there anything out there that can help me that doesn't cost the earth (i.e. over 300 USD)?
Re: Large number of hidden fields
Although ur problem is not clear but i assume u dont know about number of hidden fields on pages but u want to extract data from them and wana to post back,if yes then i think there must be some sort of naming_convention difference in hidden fields and visible fields.if yes the u can create array of with a lenght of hidden fields and then put all the values in array and post back. through any automation tool like winrunner.
