If I have a test script to check a web page and its understood this test will need to be executed in the Internet Explorer, Netscape and Mozilla browsers should one test case be created within the 'Test Plan' tab or should three test cases be created?
How about when the tests are moved to Regression, should there be three tests to specify the browsers used?
There's a lot of ways you can do this. If you have 3 copies of the same test for each browser, you might have an easier time reporting and tracking potential issues, but you'd have higher maintenance. You could parameterize a test and have seperate instances for each browser. Just pick a method that makes sense, and that you feel fits your situation. Personally, I would not create 3 seperate instances of each test. That's just me though.
Krystal, this does not really answer the question and feels like an add, the fact that you appear to be trolling the forum with it also makes me suspect this. Please check the FAQs and the Forum rules for the expected behaviours.
