web page dialog
i am currently software tester in my company. Our company develops web applications (big ones) on the platform dot Net. i am in stack and wondering can someone help me. namely: web application includes one DHTML component called showModalDialog, which calls out Web Page Dialog. The only tools i have so far discovered which provides that Web Page Dialog, are mercury quicktest pro and rational robotj or functional tester.
I am currently trying to use TestComplete, because it has elements for performance testing(HTTP Load Testing, Network Suite), but TestComplete doesn't support Web Page Dialog. I was trying to make wrapper for TestComplete just to find out which WINUSERAPI functions is called out in WebClient.pls when Web Page Dialog occurres. Seems that IEFrame (for usual HTML page) is hardcoded in the WebClient plug-in, but when is Web Page Dialog then the name is omitted as Internet Explorer_TriedentDlgFrame. The idea was just to make function which renames Internet Explorer_TriedentDlgFrame to the IEFrame, but it didn't help. Now mu question: is there any other option to hack TestComplete so that object-browser shows me the Web Page Dialog DOM model? or is there any other tool for testing Web Page Dialog (except Rational and Mercury soft)?
waiting for help,

This might be better posted on the testcomplete forum.
Or directly to AutomatedQA their help response appears to be excellent.
