Re: Web development software
ON your first requirement - you could check up OpenSTA (which is open source), WAST (from MS), Loadrunner, Silkperformer - or any other similar load testing tool. If your looking for details for any of these - post a query on the Load and Performance testing forum.
Web development software
I need 3rd party software that is able to test various things on our company website. For example, I would like to know how fast our site loads on a 56k modem with someone running windows 2000 with 256mb of memory or how it loads on a 56k modem running windows 95 with 64 MB of memory.
Basically, I need software that will run through and generate a report on how fast our site loads on different transmission lines, hardware and software.
I would also like the software to be able to test our site for what features the end user will need to access all resources on our site. Example: A CAD viewer to view our DXF files (which CAD viewers will work, which will not?).
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
