I have been researching the Internet and reading books for almost a year about Web testing. We have a tool so we can test performance (link checking, transactions, etc). Besides that, I am trying to elaborate test cases that we can perform without a tool. For example, disabling java applets and java scripts. Does anybody have any idea of what I could do, or a source that can help me on that? (Besides books: I have read lots of them!)I am looking for real-life examples and sample test cases.
There are some Web test plans that you can download free of charge (PDF format), that may give you ideas for some new test cases.
Hope this helps

Build tests based on your requirements (written, informal, or implied) for the application.
Do you test for usability, compatibility, performance, security, interfaces with 3rd party apps, and functionality?
