For some time I've been using LinkBot from the Watchfire to check links. It's a good tool.

Re: I need a tool for links checking on the web page

I am sorry. But I didn't find exactly what I need. I am looking for a web testing tools (it doesn't matter how it costs) that can help us to test our web site in different browsers versions IE - from 5, NS - from 4, Orepa , AOL...
WinRunner, Astra, E-Tester, don't support all of them.
    What about SilkTest?

Re: I need a tool for links checking on the web page

I haven't seen any automated link checking programs that use the browser itself to actually render the page then click on the links. Linkbot is very good at what it does, but it does not render the page in a browser. It just downloads the page source and finds all of the links contained in it then tries them. Automated testing tools will work but you'll have to set up scripts and such.

Going to different browser versions the page will probably break in some other way before a link will become broken. A link checker would find a link that isn't working, but wouldn't know that a link should be appearing on the page but isn't or that the tables are messed up.
