Web application need to be complied with Gvnt. Disability Act-Section 508
Are there any Web application that complied with the Govenment Disability Act- Section 508?
"Section 508 Rule 1194.22 - Web-based Intranet and Internet Information and Applications
The criteria for Web-based technology and information are based on access guidelines developed by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium. Many of the provisions ensure access for people with vision impairments who rely on various assistive products to access computer-based information, such as screen readers, which translate what's on a computer screen into automated audible output, and refreshable Braille displays."
I'd like to see some examples of such appliction for:
* Menus can be accessed from keyboard
* Use the first letter as the accelerator key for the menu items
Anyone has ever worked with such Web applications? or tested using the software "JAW" ?
