Well, I've been using SQL Monitor that comes along with TOAD, for monitoring the queries; for a desktop application. That tool does not work with Web Applications.
I don't need to check/monitor the performance of queries rather I need the exact query that is run against any of my action on application. E.g.
I should get a select query when login action is performed on application and
I should get an Insert query whenever a new record is created using the application.
I want to know such tool for SQL Server 2005.
I researched SQL Profiler abit but that is more towards performance side. I need just queries in order to get the business logic. Kindly help
Re: Transaction Monitor
user SQL Profiler and capture a trace. You will see all the queries that were run against the DB you are profiling.
