how to run ruby+watir scripts in Hudson
In our company, we develop the testing framework and scripts with Ruby+Watir. And using one of CI tools to run them and generate the testing reports.
But now to use the same CI tool, we need to integrate these scripts with Hudson. I have no idea how to do it.
could any body have the experience and like to share with us?
Thanks in advance~
Re: how to run ruby+watir scripts in Hudson
All right. after my research, I believe I find some good ways to run the ruby+watir test scriptson the remote servers through Hudson. Of course, you should set up hudson master and slaves firstly.
I'd like to share these with you guys. and if you have any question, pls send my message but it's possible that I would reply late.
the ways to run the ruby+watir scripts on the remote machine:
1) you can build the scripts and run the command via command line batch command in build of hundson.
2) you can make it via ruby script in build of hudson. of course, you need to install the ruby build plugin for hudson firstly.
3) you can do it via rake command in build of hundson. if you use rake and rspec in your ruby+watir scripts. you're required to install rake build plugin, of course.
you're appreciate to add more excellent ways to make it.
