Load test script in MS Visual Studio 2005

    Hey everyone,

Can someone give me a tip as to how to incorporate modal dialogues into my load test scenario which being based on HTTP traffic seems to capture only URLs from one page to another but skips pop-up windows?

    Your help is muchly appreciated.

    Ta,

Re: Load test script in MS Visual Studio 2005

In a loadtest, you are interested in generating load for a server or servers. Popup windos are typically done by JavaScript and unless they require information from the server, they are a browser only activity. That means that this behavior is inconsequential with regards to generating a load on your servers. Therefore, you do NOT have to incorporate these as they add nothing to your loadtest.

By the way, check out this link to Microsoft's dicussion group for this tool.
