Has anyone changed their TFS work item states?
I was just curious what TFS work item states everyone use? their
I'm currently setting up a QA dept. within our organization and am moving from LeanKit to TFS to support continuous integration and testing with MTM.
From a management sense it seems like one would need more work item states and workflows that really support development and testing.
For example I would assume most QA managers would want to query what items are in a ready for test state in each testing environment
Here's what I've come up with so far.
Proposed > Ready for DEV > In DEV > Ready for test in DEV Env > In DEV QA > Ready for test in TEST Env > In Test QA > Ready for release.
How does this look to you guys? any suggestions?
or should I just stick with the default states and workflow?
Thanks for the input!
