Just saw this post from Brian Harry about support for Coded UI and Silverlight 5 in VS2012.
I am downloading the RC to try it out. Cross your fingers.

I thought Silverlight was being phased out? We had an app for it but soon it will be replaced with something from HTML5 according to our Devs.

Microsloth have been put under a bit of pressure over the Silverlight5 support. The guys in the CodedUI team did this plugin in their own time after community pressure.

We were able to record objects in VS2010 & VS2012RC using the dll provided. So long as the dll was inserted into the application and build correctly by the dev team.
Last I heard, MS is not planning on any new versions of Silverlight (5 being the final) they will continue support for a while though.
I don't support the decision made to continue coding with SL5 but I still have to test and do my job besides I hate manual testing
